2. General Refund Policy
Due to the nature of our services (managed IT operations, AI solutions, consulting, and ongoing support), all payments are generally non-refundable once work has commenced. This is because:
- Our services involve allocation of dedicated resources, infrastructure, and personnel upon engagement
- Preparatory work (audits, system analysis, onboarding) begins immediately after payment confirmation
- Custom deliverables are tailored to each client's specific requirements
We strongly recommend that clients discuss their requirements thoroughly with our team before making a purchase, and consider starting with a smaller engagement to evaluate our services.
3. Eligibility for Refund
Refunds may be considered in the following circumstances:

4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please submit a written request to our team with the following details:

- Invoice number or transaction ID
- Date of payment and amount paid
- Reason for requesting the refund
- Any supporting documentation or evidence

5. Refund Processing
- All refund requests will be acknowledged within 48 hours of receipt
- Requests will be reviewed and a decision communicated within 7 business days
- Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days and credited to the original payment method
- Refund amounts will be net of any applicable processing fees, taxes, or charges for work already completed
6. Cancellation of Services
For ongoing/recurring services:
- You may cancel your service by providing 30 days' written notice via email
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle
- No refunds will be issued for the remaining period of a prepaid term
- Any outstanding invoices must be settled prior to cancellation
7. Data Handling Upon Refund or Cancellation
In accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), and under the oversight of our Grievance Officer, Mr. Subesh Kumar:
- Upon service cancellation or refund, we will securely delete or return all your personal and business data within 30 days, unless retention is required by law
- You may request a copy of your data before deletion by emailing info@decipherconsultancy.in
- Financial transaction records will be retained for 7 years as required under Indian tax and accounting laws (Income Tax Act, GST Act)
- Your rights as a Data Principal (access, correction, erasure) continue to apply as described in our Privacy Policy
8. Disputes
If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of your refund request:
- Internal escalation: You may escalate your request to our management team by emailing info@decipherconsultancy.in with the subject "Refund Escalation". We will review and respond within 7 business days.
- Consumer forum: As an Indian consumer, you retain the right to approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
- Governing law: This policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gurugram, Haryana.
